- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the shrimp by peeling and deveining them. Rinse under cold water and pat dry.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- In a greased baking dish, spread cooked rice evenly. Top with shrimp and pour garlic butter mixture over them. Drizzle with heavy cream and sprinkle half the cheese.
- Combine breadcrumbs, remaining cheese, and paprika. Sprinkle over the casserole.
- Bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden. Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh shrimp for the best flavor, but frozen (thawed) shrimp works too.
- For extra richness, mix in a tablespoon of cream cheese with the heavy cream.
