Description

Philly Cheesesteak Tortellini Pasta is a hearty comfort food that effortlessly blends traditional cheesesteak flavors with tender tortellini, sautéed steak, vibrant vegetables, and gooey provolone cheese. Perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions, this dish offers robust flavors and satisfying textures in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz cheese tortellini
  • 1 lb beef steak (thinly sliced)
  • 1 cup bell peppers (sliced)
  • 1 cup onions (sliced)
  • 2 cups provolone cheese (shredded)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced bell peppers and onions and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Add the thinly sliced steak to the skillet with vegetables. Cook until the steak is browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Stir well to combine.
  4. Finally, add the drained tortellini to the skillet. Sprinkle the shredded provolone cheese over the top. Stir gently until the cheese melts and coats the tortellini, steak, and vegetables. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat on the stovetop or in the microwave, adding a splash of water to prevent drying out.
  • For variations, substitute steak with mushrooms for a vegetarian version or experiment with different cheeses.
