Ingredients

  • 15 ounces (one can) Libby’s 100% Pure Pumpkin
  • 3 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 cups Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 1/3 cup Water
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground Cloves
  • 1 cup Chopped Walnuts or Pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9×5 inch loaf pans.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Set aside.
  3. In a separate large bowl, combine pumpkin puree, sugar, oil, eggs, and water. Mix until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. If desired, fold in chopped walnuts or pecans.
  6. Pour batter evenly into prepared loaf pans.
