Description

A quick and delicious Easy Beef and Broccoli Recipe that combines tender beef strips with crisp broccoli florets, all coated in a flavorful sauce. Perfect for a satisfying family dinner in under 30 minutes!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound beef (flank steak or sirloin), sliced thinly
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions

  1. Rinse the broccoli florets under running water and cut them into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the sliced beef for about 3-4 minutes until browned, then add minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing until fragrant.
  3. Add the broccoli florets to the skillet, pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce, and stir-fry for about 5 minutes until the broccoli is bright green and tender-crisp.
  4. Drizzle sesame oil into the pan, mix well, and cook for one more minute. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve over warm rice or noodles.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat in the microwave or stovetop, avoiding overcooking the broccoli.
  • This recipe is also delicious with additional vegetables like carrots or bell peppers.
  • Add red pepper flakes or Sriracha for a spicy twist!
  • For gluten-free, substitute soy sauce with tamari.
